Daken: Welcome to You Are Your Name. This is Daken Ariel and Marlowe Shearing, your co-hosts. Today, we're going to talk about 20 different ways you can use cycles. They're in no particular order, so here we go. Go ahead, Marlowe.
Marlowe: Number one, planning your day. And when we plan our day, that Cycle Chart should be right there on your phone. You look up the app, you see the quality of intelligence of the day and the action to be taken. And you read that information, and then you can make the plan of what you would like to implement for that cycle.
Daken: Number two, planning your month. And that's the same approach. You look at the Cycle Chart summary of the month, and then you'll see the qualities of the month that you have to handle. It could be a promotional month, or it could be a month where you have to work on system and order. So really looking at the Cycle Chart is the best way to look at the opportunities of the month.
Marlowe: Number three, planning your year. The year is the most important part of your cycle because it's that broad overview of what you would like to accomplish. And when you look at what you're planning for, say, your 3-cycle year, you're also including in that projection what you would like to have as your fruition in that 8 and 9 cycle. So planning your year is relative to that year, but you also want to keep in mind always what you're working towards and what your individual ideals are.
Daken: Number four, going on a road trip. This is important that you're in a good, a non-adverse cycle day and that you're starting your trip on a good cycle hour. So this is something where if there's more than one person in the car, then you want to make sure they're all in good hours. But that's sometimes not possible. So you make sure the driver is. And as they hit an adverse hour on the road trip, maybe they get spelled off by the other person if they're in a better cycle.
Marlowe: Number five, buying a home. And that's something that's important. It's probably permanent or you're looking at it as an investment. And so there's so many aspects to purchasing that home; the real estate people, the banking people, all the appointments that have to be established, and the things that you desire that have to be communicated. So it's important to think every aspect through and match up those appointments with the appropriate times. And so you wouldn't want to go to the bank in a 3-hour when your thinking is scattered and you have so many things on your mind. You want to organize your thoughts and be very aware of what is being discussed.
Daken: Number six, making an appointment, perhaps at a dentist. Again, you want a good cycle day just because it'll make the appointment go smoother. It won't change the state of your teeth, but it will just mean that you'll attract the best situation possible. If you can get a good cycle hour, that's even better. But for sure you want to make sure you're in a good cycle day.
Marlowe: Number seven, a job interview. For a job interview, you want to establish a cycle that is beneficial for bringing the discussion to a fruition. And so it's a good to pick a good cycle day for that job interview because you have a purpose and something that you want to accomplish during that interview.
Daken: Number eight, business promotion. So if you're running a business and you're doing some major promotion, you'll want to make sure you're in a good cycle month and initiate it in a good cycle day. And that'll just add that added energy to your promotion.
Marlowe: Number nine, choosing a holiday type and date. And so the holiday type could be an excursion abroad or it could be a camping trip with the family. Each of those holidays have a different purpose and it probably involves different people. And so choosing those dates for those holidays, if it is a group situation, you want to look at both the husband and wife or if the children are involved, what cycles they're in. If you're going to Hawaii and you want to relax and you think, "Oh, my 4/9 month, that should be good," then it could prove to be a time when you lose your luggage or the connections are missed. And it will cause more stress than creating that relaxation that you need at that time. So it's really important to use your cycles.
Daken: Right. If you're in a 7-cycle year, you tend to want a holiday close to nature. But if you're in a 2-cycle year, you maybe want a holiday where there's a lot more social interaction. So the cycle year itself gives you in a sense of what you might want to arrange.
Number 10, evaluating a business proposition. So maybe someone comes up to you and says, "Oh, I have this really good investment proposal," and you should evaluate the intelligence of the proposal, of course. But if it came to you in an adverse cycle, then you can almost guarantee that it's not going to be good for you, even if the project has merit. If it came to you in an adverse cycle, you would pass on it. It's not a good opportunity for you.
Marlowe: And 11, organizing an event such as a surprise party. If you're the organizer, you're using your cycles to contact caterers, to contact the vendor that will bring the flowers, the food, whatever it is. And you're using your good cycle time because you are the mind that's bringing in those items to create the successful event. If it is a surprise party, you want to look at the individual and make sure that they're in a good cycle as well so that they have the ability to respond in a way that's going to bring the most joy.
Daken: Number 12, starting a new business. Obviously, this is a major endeavor. And you want to start it in a seeding cycle. So you want to look for your key seeding months and even start it in a really good cycle day. So if it's a incorporated business, you want to incorporate it such that the business will be in your cycle as well, so that you're not trying to merge two different cycles together. And if it's with a bunch of partners, then it's a little bit more complicated. You want to be aware that how you initiate the business starts its cycle.
Marlowe: And 13, getting married. Getting married is an important step for two people, and to be considered is the cycle year of both, the cycle month of both, and the best day for both. And in the Cycle Management Training course, we discuss merging cycles because getting married, it's rare that two people are in the same cycle, and so you want the best opportunity for that day to create and establish that unity going forward.
Daken: Number 14, resolving a health challenge. If we look at our cycles, they'll give us an indication of the potential health challenges of that particular cycle. But it always comes back to what's causing the problem, and we would encourage people to look at the balance of their name. That's often at the root cause of many health challenges.
Marlowe: Number 15, raising children. And this is an interesting one relative to cycles because each individual when they're born has their own specific birthpath quality, which is the reason seeded with that first breath. They have their own individual name and cycle. And so you might have three children and they're very different. And you have to understand their cyclic energy because in their 2-year they might need encouragement and hugs, and then that other little one in their 1-year, they need opportunity and they need to start things on their own, be that little person that they are. And so in raising children, you're using those cyclic times to direct their minds so that they feel that joy of accomplishment.
Daken: Number 16, planning to have children. So the birth month is important to not be adverse so that you don't have any complications in the childbirth. We had friends who just happened to be both in an adverse cycle when they had their third child, and it was a much more difficult process for them. So you just have to plan ahead if you can and then make sure that you're going to have the actual birth in a positive cycle month.
Marlowe: Number 17, organizing a ski trip. Again, it depends on who is going. Is it husband and wife? Is it a family? Is it a whole group? And we're looking at everyone's cycle. I do cycle grids for the week of the holiday, and I put down every person that's going and what cycle year, month, day, and do it as a calendar so that each day you can look, "Oh, this is the best day we do that new run," or, "This is the best day we just, you know, have a relaxing day and go for some snowshoeing or a little bit of a hike." And so you can use your time for the joy of the trip without having any little mishaps.
Daken: Number 18, refinance a mortgage. Your mortgage comes due at a particular time. If you see that it's an adverse cycle month, you would refinance early. Just choose a better month. Many mortgages can be refinanced at a earlier date. And you'll get the best opportunity from that refinancing.
Marlowe: Number 19, travel by plane. First I just smiled because that quality of fear is a quality of thinking and we have to erase that. We're looking at using the best cycle time. But we also have to know that mind is the greatest power in the universe. And we travel by car every day, we make decisions, we take action. We have to have that confidence, So we pick the best cycle day or the best time if it's something for business, and if it's for holidays, we can plan in advance and use the cycles more judiciously because we're making the decision.
Daken: Right. And if you are traveling in an adverse cycle, then you could always minimize your luggage. So you would do carry-on so that nothing goes missing on the other end of your trip.
Number 20, setting long-term goals. This is really a good use of cycles because we're looking at a nine-year pattern. And our life is made up of multiple nine-year patterns. So we can set goals relative to a seeding time and then work through the testing and proving and then get the maximum fruition in this fruition periods. So really working long-term with cycles makes our efforts more effective, our objectives are met, and we have more accomplishment. Any final comments, Marlowe?
Marlowe: Just that cycles are such an opportunity. And as well as goals within those cycles, there's the intelligence of time expressing through those qualities of the numbers. And we can learn about life and grow our thinking. In the 2-cycle year, we learn about people, the 3-cycle year about expression, and so there's such a joy in knowing that quality of time to expand our thinking.
Daken: Thank you, Marlowe. That will conclude our episode.
If you'd like to learn more about the Cyclic Law, you can download our free app, which is called Cycle Chart, on either the Android or Apple Store. Set up a free account. You can create an account with your email address or your Gmail or your Apple account, or even your cell phone number.
All you have to do is give it your month and date of birth, and it will configure your personal cycle information for a five-month window, the current month, plus two months in the future and two months in the past. So that should give you a chance to evaluate your cycles relative to the months, days, and years. Until next time, happy thoughts.
