Daken: Welcome to Season 4 of You Are Your Name. We're doing something a little different in this season. We're discussing how we understand purpose, how to create consistent happiness, how to build a more balanced mind, how to attain mental freedom, and how to create happy and fulfilling relationships. So my name's Daken Ariel. My co-host is Marlowe Shearing, and our guest today is Juhli Farrell. 

So in this episode, we're going to discuss the groups.  The group is based on the date of birth which is reduced to a single digit. So for instance, if you're born the 27th, 2 plus 7 is equal to a 9. So that places you in one of three groups. So if your birthdate reduces to a 1, 5, or a 7, you're in the water group. If it reduces to a 2, 4, or 8, you're in the fire group. And if it reduces to a 3, 6, or 9, you're in the air group. So each of these groups has very specific lessons to learn and a distinct role to play in life.  So I wondered if you could overview perhaps the water group, Juhli.

Juhli: So that's the first of the whole world being divided into three distinct groups. So the water group, that life lesson for the water group is a practical quality. They have that lesson of individuality, independence. They have that desire to learn but through a self-education. They like to be involved, to be their own leader of their own way of learning. And so when you meet a water group person, they are very independent in their thinking, unique from everyone else. Quite confident to stand on their analysis of the situation, and it tends to be simply put, simply expressed, simply conceived. Not from being unintelligent, but from just not full of a lot of detail or a lot of words. It's this is the truth of it in its essence. And so that quality of down to earth, positivity, willingness to go out and do it on their own. 

And so when the name is balanced, it creates such a strength to establish that individuality of purpose, that independence, practical, likes to keep life to the simple truths. That's how they tend to view the world and approach it.

Daken: Marlowe, could you tackle the fire group?

Marlowe: So the fire group is the 2, 4, or 8. And now we have people, we have more than one individual. And so the fire group looks at life through that concept of association, responsibility to others, and the caring of people. And they look at life, they learn through experience, the experience of listening, understanding, learning others' concepts and the fire of experience of actually doing things for themselves, and then getting burned by the fire of emotional involvement.

But that 2 quality we recognize is a person that needs that reassurance, the understanding of others. And so that fire group quality is that mind reaching out to create the communication between others to create that understanding between people. And so that fire group quality looks for details and they look for all the understanding and the reason behind, and how did that happen? So their perspective is more from an intellectual point of view. They like to know all the facts and the details involved. Because in their mind, in their quick-thinking ability can put together a scenario that satisfies their understanding of what happened. 

And so that quality loves people and they are expressive, but they desire that peace and that understanding between others. And when there's conflict, that fire group is compelled to try to create understanding, try to circumvent the arguments and the dissension, because they rely on that peaceful understanding and communication between others,

Daken: And the air group, which is the birth dates that reduce to a 3, 6, or 9, are much more inspirational qualities. They have the lesson of self-expression. So they have to transmute that emotional power into inspirational expression and the truths of life.  If they understand the Principle and they apply it with a balanced name, then the air group is a very lifting power. It can inspire others to be their best selves, and there's a role of service that also would express.

Juhli: It is such a wonderful way to know ourselves. What group we're in and to understand, as was mentioned, that group lesson from it. And even in communicating with others in that we know that if we are speaking to a water group that we need to be succinct, make our point, not a lot of time spent on all the peripheral detail. If we're speaking to a fire group, they'll want to have the understanding and the detail helps them build the intelligence of the concept that we're trying to convey. And if we're speaking to an air group, we know that if we've missed presenting the big picture, we haven't created that first glimmering of interest that they want to listen to any of the rest of our conversation. 

So understanding the groups allows us to understand the role we play in life and allows us yet another tool to create understanding with people.

Daken: It also has a facet of compatibility as well.

Marlowe: Yes, because the water group can stand alone and do things on their own and go off on their own road, the fire group finds that difficult. You know, "Why wasn't I invited?" And you know, "No one asked me." And so you can see the lack of recognition of qualities of thinking and that's just what the water group thinks. "It's time to go. I'm off on a hike, we'll see you later." And so that compatibility is again understood through learning and understanding the Mathematical Principle. 

With an air group, they have a meltdown and the fire group wants to go through all the discussion and all the details. The air group needs a hug and it's that simple. They need that assurance of love and solidarity. And so you can see how misunderstandings, lack of awareness, can all be understood through the understanding of the mathematics.
