S3-E15: Name analysis for those named in a different language?

Daken: Welcome to Season 3 of You Are Your Name. In this season, we are asking a Kabalarian Name Consultant various questions on balanced names.

Our guest today is Garrett Hannigan. Thank you for joining us Garrett.

Garett: Thanks for asking me on.

Daken: So the question for you today is, "Why is the sample name analysis on the website only partially correct for me? By the way, I was named using a different language than English."

Garett: Good question. And so, the name analysis that are on the Kabalarians.com website are based on the English 26-letter alphabet. And so to the degree that you use that alphabet or think of yourself in that English way, that name analysis will be accurate.

Now, if you were born in a foreign country where there was a different alphabet and you were named in that language, and then came to Canada or United States and adopted the English version of that name with the same letters, or maybe there were certain letters in your name that were left out, there would be a different influence from that new name. And in a sense, you've changed your name either directly from the spelling or you've changed the influence of your name because you're now using the English alphabet.

Daken: So for instance, Spanish has an extra n in their alphabet, and if the name is using letters that occur after that n, that would be a different mathematical influence on that letter compared to the English version of that letter.

Garett: That is correct. And so there would be a different influence from it. The Kabalarian Philosophy gives name recommendations, what we call a mathematically balanced name to the inner potential, the names that we recommend are given with the direct connection that they are based on the English 26-letter alphabet. And so, what that means is that taking on that balanced name, you're making two decisions in effect. One, the name and (two) the alphabet that that name is based on.

And so when you make that name change to that Kabalarian balanced name, and you go to a country that has a different alphabet, all of a sudden you don't switch to be some different personality. You've made the decision on the name. And you know that that name is based on the English alphabet. So you can go to any country in the world and you're not having to change your name just because they have a different alphabet.

You are that name, Ross Brown, English alphabet. You go to a different country and for example, let's say there is a letter in Ross Brown, I, I can't quite think of an example of this off-hand, but you may go to a country where that there's a particular letter, like the w, in certain languages does not exist. So if you went to that other country with that different alphabet, just because they speak a different language without a w doesn't mean that the w in your name would have no value all of a sudden. So it's a name based on the English alphabet. And so that becomes your identity as you go through life.

If you're internationally traveling, even living in a country for several months, letters may not appear in the language that is there. You may be speaking English for that matter there anyways, but the point is you picked the balanced name and you you have the alphabet that goes with it. So all Kabalarian balanced names that are given from the office are based on the English alphabet.

Daken: So if I wanted to know the influence of my existing name in my existing alphabet which is not English, the best direction is to take the online study courses and then being able to understand the Mathematical Principle and then translate it to that particular alphabet.

Garett: Yes. So you would apply the Mathematical Principle to that original alphabet and that would give you a further insight into the qualities that were part of your original makeup. In virtually every case, the name isn't balanced so you're still going to have to have a balanced name. So, it doesn't really change the effect that you have to change to a balanced name.

It just gives you an understanding of, for example, you may have had a name that had certain qualities that made you, maybe had 2-ish qualities, as we say, that that made you procrastinate and avoid issues. Well, if you discovered that as part of your old name that was in your original alphabet, that would give you an understanding, "Okay, well that's something I should be aware of. I have my balanced name, which has positive, strong qualities. But I have to always be aware that that's a kind of lingering habit from the past." So studying the Life Analysis Training, the online training that the Kabalarian in Philosophy gives, would give you further insight into those background qualities that you have.

Another point I should make is that when we give a balanced name and give recommendations, we can have names which are culturally-sounding so that they are from a particular culture. But they are based on the 26-letter English alphabet. So we can accommodate people in that way. So if they were, Hawaiian and they wanted to have a Hawaiian- sounding name, we would come up with Menia or something like that which would be based on the English alphabet. And that would be a balanced name, but it would have that cultural sound to it. But it's not based on the alphabet of that particular country.

Daken: Going back to something you said earlier, for say an immigrant who comes from, say, Italy. And you have an example of Mario who in the Italian alphabet is quite a dynamic name, very turbulent and almost impulsive. But then he comes to North America and he assumes the English language and he starts working and thinking in English after a number of years. That English formula for Mario is quite different. It's quite passive and it creates changes in his thinking. 

So that's the case where you're saying how the name analysis might be only partially correct because he's seeing the English version of Mario, but there's still that background blueprint of his mind through the Italian language. And so to understand that, by studying the Life Analysis Training he can see both influences much more clearly.

Garett: Exactly. And the person coming over here speaking English and becoming anglicized, if we can use that term, takes on those qualities of that particular alphabet. Because there really isn't the conscious decision on what is the alphabet behind their name. They just went from Mario in Italy, came over with their parents when he was maybe five years old, lived in Canada all this time, but he was given that name. And so that explains why there would be a subtlety or could be fairly obvious difference between both qualities. 

But regardless, the only way to resolve the issues of the name Mario from the Italian alphabet and within the English alphabet, the limitations of those names, is that mathematically balanced name to their inner potential, and that would be based on the English alphabet.
