Welcome to this episode of You Are your Name. In Season 2, we are interviewing people who have balanced their names through the Kabalarian Philosophy to gain an insight into the changes they experienced.

Every person's life is a unique journey; but we are subject to the same fundamental laws and the Mathematical Principle of name is a basic law of how mind is formulated and how it can be balanced.

If you are new to this concept, Season 1 episodes discuss how names create your thinking, affect your health weaknesses, and are a factor in attracting the conditions of your life. We encourage you to review them to understand some of the theory behind this Principle. In addition, they analyze over 100 popular names to allow you additional proof.

INTERVIEW:

Daken: Today's guest is Jonn Regan. He changed his names to balanced names along with his wife and he changed his childrens' names as welL.. So thank you for being with us, Jonn, and sharing some of your experiences with us.

Jonn: Thank you for inviting me.

Daken: How long have you been using a balanced name?

Jonn: I was introduced to the Philosophy 40 years ago by a young couple who one day walked into my restaurant. They asked to pay with rolls of pennies. I said, rolls of pennies are okay. And then I gave them back their change in pennies, and jokingly told them to start a new roll. Anyway, my sense of humor triggered a conversation about names and mathematics which got my undivided attention. And they ended up giving me a brief name analysis, also did my wife's name and our children's.

Daken: Did you proceed to get a Name Report and then decide to balance your name?

Jonn: Absolutely, yes. I got a Name Report for all of us. I was fascinated by the accuracy. Coming from the large family of eight people, the Mathematical Principle made sense to me. I could not quite understand it yet, but I was getting a glimpse of why my siblings and I were so different from each other. We had different names. There was a logic to this Principle that could not be denied.

Daken: Was it a difficult process to change your name at that time?

Jonn: Not at all. The process was relatively simple. Of course, we had to deal with the effect that it had on on our friends and family members. Changing your name does create reactions. That's to be expected. One sister eventually adopted a balanced name. She can't officially change it. They don't allow that in France.

Daken: What changes did you notice in your children when you balanced their names?

Jonn: We noticed an almost immediate change of behavior, especially our son who was seven at the time. He became more manageable overnight, gentler, especially with his younger sister.

Now he would react more positively. And one big thing about his materialistic comportment, which we did not understand where that came from, quickly faded away. My wife and I would look at each other in disbelief.

My wife and I also changed. We suddenly had a sense of, to be more in control of our lives, giving it a better focus. Our relationship solidified. We understood better our old makeup. We started expressing the qualities of our new name in harmony with our birthpath. The change was progressive. It didn't happen all at once. We also had to learn our lessons.

It was a decision that we would study the Kabalarian Philosophy and learn to apply the Mathematical Principle in our daily lives that had the greatest impact in our lives. To the best of our ability, we agreed to apply the principles of right breathing, right eating, and right thinking.

We weren't smokers, but we got rid of all the liquor, the little we had. We became vegetarian, and so did the children. For a long time, we did our breathing together. We adopted and followed, to the best we could, the Ethics of Right Thinking, as taught by the Kabalarian Philosophy. Our children went to Sunday School and learned their creeds.

And we kept learning the many facets of the Philosophy; the right way to life, the cycles, and so on. Oh, and we had the added privilege to be part of a community of people who share the same values and interest in self-development. We basically had a whole bunch of new friends overnight.

Daken: What have you found valuable from your online study program of the Kabalarian Philosophy that you used in your life for these last 40 years?

Jonn: Everything is valuable. Everything that the Philosophy teaches is valuable. One in particular that stands out is the Law of Cycles, knowing what cycle you're in the right season to put the seeds in the ground, and in order to reap the benefits of your effort. And so the cycles really make a difference when you learn to live with your cycle, to follow your cycles, your life all of a sudden takes a turn for the better.

And so it did in my life as well. And when I sold my business, I sold it in the right cycle. And and then I went on to take a teaching position at BCIT.

Daken: How did you prove cycles in your life in terms of proving that it's not just a belief system, that you actually see those qualities in action?

Jonn: That's a good question. Testing the cycles is something that probably all students do initially. So by testing the cycles, you go contrary to what the cycles tell you to do basically. And sure enough, there's a chance that you're going to regret it! Even a simple thing, going on a trip on a testing cycle and getting a flat tire on your way. I've done that, your car breaks down and you're in the middle of the highway and you've got no immediate help.

Testing the cycle is something that we all do instinctively. And then we we reason out that the cycle does work. It is true with everything; investments, traveling, just planning your day. Some days are good to stay home and do the laundry and vacuuming and so on, and other days are good for going out and socialize. And other days are good to conduct business and so on. And it doesn't take that long to really become, convinced that the cycles work.

Daken: How does understanding the Mathematical Principle help you handle the challenges that everyone will face, whether they have a balanced name or not?

Jonn:The challenges of life differ from different people. There's a challenge of staying healthy. To stay healthy, of course, is subject to a proper diet, proper breathing, proper thinking. The Philosophy basically teaches you to become more conscious of our emotions, and we're trying to put a lid on them. I'm referring to destructive emotions, of course. Learning not to react to someone else's emotional outburst also really helps. By staying calm, by analyzing the situations and not reacting, we can learn to diffuse the situation. And that is true with with each other. That's true with our friends, as well as our boss, as well as our co-workers, people on the Skytrain, or whatever it is.

Daken: What benefits have you recognized in being a Kabalarian student for forty years?

Jonn: The Philosophy changed the direction of our life for the better. And I'm saying our life because my life, my wife's life, and our children. I mentioned that before, but more in control. Finding a reason for life, basically gave me a purpose. Knowing my true potential gave me an avenue for self-expression. Getting along with people. What it boils down to, clearer thinking. I didn't have that same confusion that I was questioning in the past before I became involved in the teachings.

So that's something that I have noticed. Yes, less confusion, thinking, analyzing, making sense of life as it is, and my surroundings. And my self-confidence went way up! I knew how to use the cycles. I understood why people were the way they were; because of their names basically.

Cycles made so much difference, knowing what cycle year I'm in, what cycle day I am in, knowing each other's cycles as well, my wife's cycles, and the children. So it really gives you control of your life; control of your way of life.

Daken: What advice would you give to someone considering a balanced name now?

Jonn: Changing your name is the single most important decision you'll be making. So do it! Make sure you pick a name from the recommended list, one you are prepared to use for the rest of your life. Which name, of course, is a personal choice, as long as it is balanced.

By the way, if you're expecting a baby, please consider a balanced name. People born with a balanced name are are uniquely rewarded later in life.

There's no greater pleasure and joy than mental accomplishment. I guess that's one of the benefits I could have mentioned earlier. The world needs writers, teachers, and philosophers. People with a vision of a better world.

Daken: Any final comments you'd like to share with the listeners?

Jonn: Don't just change your name. Study the Mathematical Principle! The Kabalatian Philosophy is a philosophy of life. It teaches you to be happy in all your endeavors. Happy thoughts are healthy thoughts. It gives you the greatest picture of the universe.

You'll you'll learn the right way to health, learn about the natural cycles, also based on the Mathematical Principle of 1 to 9. By the way, that alone, as I mentioned, is incredibly valuable. You can't put a price on the value of the Principle. It gives you the right way to live life. When the world discovers this truth, the world will never be the same.

Any final comments? It's great to be alive. It's great to have a balanced name. It's great to be truly happy.

Daken: Thank you, Jonn I appreciate your comments, and I'm sure that the audience will appreciate your insights into how name has influenced your life, and how you can use it to create a more happy and fulfilling life.

Jonn: Thank you very much for the opportunity to share.
