Welcome to episode four of You Are Your Name. My name is Garrett Hennigan. The information we are sharing with you is based upon the teachings of the Kabalarian Philosophy founded by Alfred J. Parker in the 1930s in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Today we will focus on one of the principles taught in the Philosophy by answering the question, What is the relationship between our names and our inner purpose?
The Kabalarian Philosophy offers insights into this intriguing connection, revealing how our names shape not just our personality, but allow the development of our inner purpose. According to the Kabalarian teachings, our names are more than just labels, they are the very tuning mechanism for our individual thinking patterns.
But how do our names relate to inner purpose? The answer lies in the Mathematical Principle. Our birth dates, comprised of the month, day, and year, serve as a mathematical measurement of when we first connected with life. This connection, known as the birthpath, represents our inner purpose for development throughout our lives.
Yet, while our birthpath inclines us to certain traits, our names compel us towards others. Let's say we have a birthpath potential that would express best as a leader, but the names we use lack the leadership qualities necessary to express this inner potential. We would always sense that we are not being fulfilled. If our birthpath potential was to lift and inspire others through constructive self-expression, we might be using names that restrict and limit our verbal expression. Again, we would sense an incompleteness in our life no matter how successful we were in material pursuits.
There are nine separate birthpaths, each with a broad universal potential to develop. If you order your own free Name Report from our website, you will learn more about your specific birthpath potential. As we have previously explained, names can be translated into mathematical formulas which describe both the mental qualities that we are tuned to, and to those qualities that we express, regardless of our birthpath.
However, not all names are created equal. Some names are mathematically balanced, allowing for the natural expression of our inner potential. Unfortunately, many names in today's society are missing this critical mathematical balance, leading to tensions and limitations in our thinking.
But there is hope. By understanding the laws of mental evolution as taught in the Kabalarian Philosophy, we can cultivate our inner purpose into a constructive power. A balanced name serves as an important first step in this journey of self-discovery and growth.

The name of Joe gives you a natural, spontaneous, creative, and inspirational nature. You require connection with others for your support and encouragement in your plans and commitments. You make friends easily as people are attracted to your warm and generous nature. However, you have to watch that others do not take advantage of your generosity, for you are apt to be influenced by hard luck stories and tend to be guided by your emotional feelings in your decisions.
As a result, you tend to procrastinate due to your more laid back and easy going nature. It is difficult for you to follow through with your commitments as you lose interest readily, particularly in the more technical, practical fields. Your vitality wanes unless it is a more social, inspirational experience.
Even though you can be very outgoing and expressive, you do not push yourself as hard to finish the things you start and tend to draw from and rely on others for your incentive and positive action. This can cause you to feel insecure and to lack decisiveness in your decisions. Misunderstandings could exist in your personal life because of this emotional power, which you have difficulty controlling, and also because of a difficulty in accepting responsibility and seeing and following through with your commitments.
You are spontaneous and compassionate in your responses to the needs of others and respond to inspirational opportunities, which can often attract you to emotional circumstances. Routine and system are a challenge for you, which spoils your practicality and follow through with your undertakings. If there are too many issues or you feel insecure, you are apt to leave a project unfinished and let things slide.
It is hard for you to face issues where you have to make the final decision, thus contend to procrastinate. You have difficulty dealing with confrontations. You do draw from the harmony and support of others. You like to make others happy and to be a friend to others, as you have a caring, nurturing nature.
You find it easier to take on responsibilities, where you work as a team or communicate through the power of the word. For example, in sales, communication, or an artistic, social type of environment.
Your name does tend to influence your emotional desires, making it difficult to discipline your feelings. You are fond of sweets and rich foods, and your tendency to eat heavily can cause fluctuations in your weight, which will cause you to have an overheated bloodstream, a weakness in your liver, creating a sensitivity in your skin, and also swelling of the legs and ankles, the fluid functions creating disorders or a weakness affecting the lower part of your back.
