Welcome to this third episode of You are Your Name. My name is Daken Ariel. I will be one of your hosts for this series of podcasts. The information we are sharing with you is based upon the teachings of the Kabalarian Philosophy, which was founded by Alfred J Parker in the 1930s in Vancouver, BC Canada.
What about surnames? Are they important?
Everyone has a first name. Most people have a family name. If you have been following along with this series, you will know that those who study the Kabalarian Philosophy can reduce any name to its equivalent mathematical formula. This reveals the specific mental qualities that a person will express if they use that name consistently.
The Philosophy teaches that names are the tuning mechanism for how Consciousness expresses through the individual. It is not unlike choosing a specific radio frequency on a radio. Each radio station is broadcasting on a different frequency. The names we use, both first name and surname, translate consciousness into specific and predictable mental patterns.
That said, the Kabalarian Philosophy teaches that the first name creates your personal nature and your surname creates the family traits that you draw from. Everyone in a family is influenced by the shared surname. It is not unlike playing on a keyboard with two hands; the personal nature is the melody played on the right hand and the surname is the background chords played with the left hand.
No doubt, you have noticed how families differ from each other? We can predict accurately the shared mental qualities of the family from the mathematical formula of the surname. Some families are individualistic and very independent – communicating in a direct and blunt manner. Others are more cosmopolitan and outgoing; loving to argue and debate, and there is lots of laughter around the dinner table. Other surnames create a reserved nature, where there is a formality in the family gatherings with less free and relaxed expression.
The surname can add to or detract from your personal nature created by the first name depending upon its mathematical formula. For example, if you have a first name that creates a happy, outgoing and expressive nature like Judy and yet you are saddled with a surname that is reserved and very unexpressive nature like Anthony, you are going to have opposing influences in your mental makeup. Sometimes you are your happy self and other times you will be quiet and unresponsive.
The opposite can happen as well. We might have a first name that creates a restless, quick-tempered nature like the name of Terry. But a more mathematically balanced surname like Evan can add a measure of stability and reliability to the mental makeup - offsetting some of the emotional turbulence created by the personal name.
The important point is that we should not use names that restrict or limit our happiness, health, and success. This happens when the first name and surname are mathematically discordant with each other or where either the first name or surname are mathematically discordant in their own nature.
Because name formulas can create specific health weaknesses, we can trace these health issues over the various generations using the same surname. In many countries, a woman drops her original family name and takes on the surname of the husband. In doing so, she may inherit the health weaknesses that are inherent in that surname. In addition, a new surname will modify the overall conditions you attract using these combined names.
The important point is that the surname creates an impact upon our individual mental makeup. The more mathematically balanced the surnames, the more constructive the influence.
Name Analysis for Mark, Harry, Jack, Richard, Carl, and Lester
For this episode, we will analyze the name of Mark. Because Harry, Jack, Richard, Carl, and Lester have the same name formula, the summary is valid for these names as well. Our presenter is Marlowe Shearing, a long-term student of the Kabalarian Philosophy and one our most experienced course instructors.
Mark, you have a love of nature and the out of doors. Whatever you do, a hiker, photographer, love fishing, hang gliding, or whatever the opportunity, it is where you find peace and enjoy the beauty of nature. You enjoy those opportunities away from the bustle of life. That time spent alone gives you opportunities to see the wonders of nature.
You have creative qualities. You may enjoy working with your hands or find an outlet in an independent enterprise. You enjoy working independently. You would not enjoy taking orders from someone else.
You can be seen as a lone wolf, a person that keeps much to themselves. Others may think you are hard. You may make it appear that way as you stand apart, as you have difficulty fitting in. There is a certain sensitivity that causes you to hold back. At a party, if you were there, you would hear people saying, Where did Mark go? He was just here.
You find social ease difficult. You can't find the words to be relaxed and just chat. The sensitivity shows there is tension, and when you do express, you find it difficult. Your expression can be blunt, candid, and may come out with great force. Because of this lack of expression, you can feel alone. This can create feelings of jealousy, as your friends, your partner, may have an ease with people, and you feel left out.
Put on the spot to share in an uncomfortable social situation, there is self-consciousness, in which case you may have a loss of words and may bluster to try to create the freedom from that intensity of feeling. Your lack of ability to have social ease is creating a limitation. Life is people and there would be a much greater freedom if you had that relaxation and ease of expression.
This tension will also affect the senses of the head, solar plexus, lungs, create asthma or heart condition. But Mark, you have such a fine mind and such a creative ability and that love of nature gives you that deep sense of appreciation of life.
